Excellent setup Conner. Those TFS soaps are marvelous! :)
  4. Agreed! I definitely "need" some more of them
  5. Let me just recommend TFS Ginestra Di Taormina. I wouldn't want a good friend making a blind buy. :D

    Razor: Personna Flexhead Injector
    Blade: Gillette Twinjector (4)
    Lather; Hibco Nag Champa
    Brush: Not Shown Unknown Brand
Pre Shave Oil: Hibco Nag Champa

Nice 3 pass shave, WTG, ATG, And an ATG/XTG 3rd pass to clean up. All passes were smooth and clean. One small weeper on 2nd pass, which washed away with a cold water rinse. The Kleenex test was clean. The Hibco Nag Champa AS was a nice final touch for another Dolphin smooth shave. Happy Camper here. Wishing the same for all.

  7. Tabacstag!
Another excellent shave with TABAC Fragrances. This soap is top notch in everyway. Plenty of thick lather and a classic scent. I find B&M Reserve Classic compliments it nicely.

  8. Thanks Robert. I have to man a booth this morning at a conference so I wanted smell like a manly man for the ladies LOL.
  9. That's certainly an excellent choice for a manly scent my friend! :happy088:

  10. SOTD: First shave with Soap Commander's Fortitude. Vintage Hayashi Diamond 8000 razor, Omega silvertip badger brush, SC Fortitude soap & aftershave balm. Lather was easy to generate, slick and had that desirable 'enamel-like' quality that coats the face thickly when applied. I personally prefer a denser lather (versus foamy) for SR shaves and this soap hits the mark. The fragrance is slightly 'sweet' to my nose with an underpinning of tobacco. The H. Diamond is probably my 'smoothest-shaving' razor and combined with this slick lather makes for a glorious shaving experience. Post shave: I'm a 'balm guy' and love a good, thick, soothing balm. With the Fortitude balm the 'hay' fragrance was prominent (nice!), more noticeable than with the soap, balanced with the present tobacco scent. Refreshing menthol tingle! Overall, a real top-shelf shave! Great products!

Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum AS

Another excellent three pass BBS shave with the Bostonian with some help from the great lather that the WSP Fougere Noir soap provided. A very hard razor to beat when it comes to a close, smooth and comfortable shave. IMG_0828.jpg

  14. I took a break from my SEs and injectors to test out my new Feather equipped Krona and further experiment with DIY shave gel. Great results which I have to attribute to both hardware and software. No brush, no lather, head shave best I've had with a DE.
