Gillette New Short Comb/Custom Handle Israeli Personna SS Blade Ever-Ready 400BN Badger-Ion Brush Winter 2015 Kringle Soap by Dapper Dragon Witch Hazel Lucky Tiger Aspen AS Decided to go with the Winter 2015 Kringle soap sample from SHAVEWIZARD420 today. Not sure what kind of scent it's supposed to have, but it reminds me of leather. Together with the brush, slightly restored and customized, it produced a good lather and provided a decent amount of slickness for the razor. Together I received a very good three pass BBS shave.

Razor: Timeless Stainless Steel Open Comb w/Timeless Plaid Handle Blade: Gillette Platinum (6) Brush: El Druida Cocobolo w/ Druida Manchurian Soap: Route 66 Perfect Storm Aftershave: Floid Vigoroso The handle in this brush is Cocobolo which is a tropical hardwood of Central American trees belonging to the to the genus Dalbergia . Only the heartwood is used; this is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. The handle has a nice orange hue to it. The shave was great accompanied with a new brush always helps for me. My traditional 3 passes with minimal clean up.
