Another very good 3 pass shave this morning. After minimal touch ups, I ended the shave with a near BBS. The Timeless OC is an exceptionally efficient razor. The Reef Point Dragon's Blood continues to impress me with each use. I will certainly buy more Reef Point soaps in the future. Finished off the shave with a splash of Fine Platinum. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.

My plans to do an OCtober focus have been derailed by the arrival of new razors (I have no willpower when it comes to new toys. )

Fortunately the lastest arrival allows me to get back on track at least for a few shaves, as it is the SE2 open comb single edge razor from Above The Tie. I believe that this is the first open comb single edge razor in about 75 years.

As with all ATT products it is finely crafted and a great shaver.

Just another uneventful excellent shave with the Timeless SS, OC. Three passes with no cleanup. The brush is amazing as is the Route 66 Perfect Storm.

I prefer to use MW soaps in shave stick form. Many find MW soaps finicky to lather. However once mastered I find the performance of the soap among the best I have tried with excellent slickness and post shave feel. The Tres Amigos brush is a true joy to use. The Envy White knot has as much backbone and scrub as my boar brushes which made lathering the MW Eucalyptus & Spearmint easy. Going with a traditional 3 pass shave, I had a near perfect shave going. I let my mind wander and placed the razor against my face much to quickly. Not a good idea with this blade exposure. So operator error messed up a great shave. I finished off with a splash of Myrsol F/Extra. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.

Close comfortable 3 pass shave this afternoon. The Elite Razor brush is an amazing brush along with the Route 66 soap it whips up a great lather in no time.
