One Thing You Really Want In Your Den?

For me it would be a Schick type C3 repeating razor. It's the only razor left on my bucket list after acquiring the other two unobtaniums recently (Cobra Classic and a Schick type O).

As far as the brush debate, give me a "two band" or "finest" badger brush any day over a synthetic or any of the lower grade badgers for that matter.

 

At least the front didn't fall off!

I'm not sure if I have a need at this time, my buying habits have changed and I'm more into colognes.

 

If I have to pick just one, it's probably a custom brush. 26mm Plisson type synthetic (Stirling's knot is just about perfect for me) set in a custom handle, probably maroon and gold for my college alma mater. GO Sundevils!

I needed a new Alum block and ended up ordering the Soap Commander Love as well. I was a big fan of the Klar Kabinett scent. Hopefully this will do the trick for my Rose fix...

Probably a classic Aristocrat, maybe post-war NDC like my Milord. That or a pre-War OC one.

 

I would like to get some Fine shaving soaps and aftershaves. They are now available over here, I just haven't got around to purchasing them.

Razor wise a Fatboy or an Ever Ready Streamline.

 

I'm a fan of open comb razors and would love to have a modern SS OC, but prices for the beauties on the market are astronomical for me so it is just a pipe dream. I drooled all over myself the whole month of October looking at the beautiful postings by many of the participants.

An adjustable razor and a nice lather bowl. those are my big wishes

 

This wish is sort of den-adjacent. If I had a lathe, the knowledge of how to use one and some space in which to work with it, I could make the brush handle I want.

 

My wish list is a Fat Boy, shavette, Pinaub Vanilla and Bay Rum.

 

Would love a Wolf Whiskers brush, but it says on the website only synthetic knots for international orders and I want a badger knot...so I don't try to get on the wait list
