I googled patent drawings for OV Rodrigues and have come to an interesting realization. OV had submitted drawings for the C type repeater, the C3 safety bar head, the D type injector, and the E type injector all around the same time.
It appears he probably thought the repeaters and the D and E types would all be marketed at the sametime...Different razor choices for different uses. Because of how Schick released them, it appears to be chronologically how the Schick razors were developed with improvements being added...But NO! Victor designed the all at the sametime! He considered them all as complete designes...Just different style razors for different men's taste and lifestyles...
He did consider the C3 smooth safety bar an improvement...that was the most modern patent of all these drawings.
Octavius Rodrigues for President.....man....what a visionary!! Imagine walking into a drugstore in the early '30's and seeing the C3 repeater, the D type and E type on the shelf all next to each other...not to mention the GEM OCMM right next to them....actually....it would have looked a little like alot of our medicine cabinets

But in the early 30's....those cats sure had shaving choices...course with the depression...most didn't have the bread to cop!

No wonder robbing banks became so popular...

But your honor....I needed to stockpile a few thousand repeater blades before they quit making them..
