Very nice, only the second one I've seen and both belong to members.....the F, D, O and finally the C3 found there way to me so hopefully an E1 comes down the pipe.

Thanks. Yeah the search is fun and rewarding. The type F I found hiding in a razor lot on ebay is by far my favorite score ($7):D

Wonderful shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. This Arko Extra Performance shave cream is such a great performer. It's super easy to work up a thick protective lather with it. Three passes for a refreshing dolphin smooth end result. Have a great day guys. :happy005:

Lather: Country Club for Men Cahaba Blues
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Fine Platinum, Nivea sensitive balm

GEM Pushbutton this morning with Cahaba Blues soap. Nice shave! I haven't used a straight edge razor in a while and forgot how much I enjoy them. They are good complements to the injectors I have. Nice shave overall.

    Have a great day!

I don't care too much for this razor. It looks good, but but looks don't cut whiskers. I just can't get a good shave out of it. I can buff my face ATG until I don't have any skin left, and still have stubble. I'm not sure I'm giving up on it completely, but I don't see it keeping a regular spot in the line up.

So I guess I did find an injector that I didn't agree with after all.

    Blade: Feather Pro (2)
Brush: WDC-8 Brass Handle TGN Finest
Soap: Route 66 The Perfect Gent
    Aftershave: Pinaud Musk

A much better shave tonight with the addition of the Timeless Knurled handle. It is still a royal pain to load the blade and line up the bass plate and the head. Three passes with a light cleanup for a very good shave. I really enjoy the extra weight of the brass handle.

Looks great in the photo though Jared. What a shame it's so mild. :(

Personnally (get it:D), I get great shaves out of this one. It is one of the lightest injectors I own and has a different grip and balance. What I have found is that it requires just enough pressure to hold the razor against your face, but not so much that you smash it against your face. It is a much more conscious amount of pressure than with almost any other razor. I am using an nos one with a Personna Advanced Stainless blade and it works beautifully. As a matter of fact, it is one of my personal favorites. Not sure how a chick would change things, but I bet it would work well no matter what blade. The angle is similar to the Pal Adjustable from my experience, but has a much different feel in the hand. You always have to maintain a slightly more dramatic angle imo. Give it another try sometime down the road. You might like it later on;)

Thanks, Mister. I suspect that a focus would probably get it dialed in, but it's hard to want to spend a couple of weeks getting mediocre shaves when there are a couple dozen excellent razors hanging out, just begging to give me a BBS.

I need to try a different blade in it too, it was empty when I got it, and maybe I bunged the blade up when I loaded it.

I know that feeling all too well my friend :) So many razors, so little time. Typically, I prefer a heavier, more solid feeling razor. Somehow, this one works too for me:signs002: Don't waste a minute not enjoying your shaves. We've all been there and done that:prrr:

    Today's Shave: Wednesday November 9, 2016

The General from Colonial Razors w/Maggard Razors MR5 handle
Feather Artist Club Professional blade (2)
    Plisson synthetic brush
Chiseled Face Groomatorium Summer Storm soap and aftershave

A silver General to go with my black one - nice! :happy088: I added a stainless steel MR5 handle from Maggard Razors to give it a little heft, and it is one smooth shaver, somewhere in the middle of the aggression scale, perhaps on the mild side. The satin silver finish is well done, exceptionally well considering the price. Fit is also excellent. The General uses a simple setup of two pins to secure the blade. Simple, but the blade locks securely into perfect alignment without having to fool around with it at all. This setup performs well even in comparison with razors costing several times as much.
