Yes the slight increase of angle with this blade made all of the difference. I may need to invest in more of the Motherland razors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
These showed up earlier this week. The green one was made at the Labor factory in Vacha, Nizhny Novgorod region in 1949. It's just over 4/8th. The one with darker scales was made in 1954. I can't read the Writting on it, but the scales are homemade, of either horn or wood, with a lead wedge.
Inscription there means: " number 7, factory STIZ, 1954" Some model of razors made by this factory have no name just number started from "№1", the biggest number what I saw was "№9" (number 9)
I think my Russian is lost some where. It's been over 30 days. Anyone else have to wait this long for a razor from @mlys7884 ?
I bought some Russian nesting dolls last year for my Granddaughters' Christmas present. I actually finally asked for a refund, they did finally arrive about a month after Christmas. I guess you just have to be patient...this is coming from the world's most impatient person
I have on other things from Russia, and China, but it's been a couple of years since I've had that slow of deliveries. Deliveries from Hong Kong are still very slow.
Da comrade, shipments from the Ukraine are very slow at the moment. @twhite and I have a pair being sent directly to @gssixgun for honing and they have shown in transit from Kiev in the shipping status for over 3 weeks now.
I tried honing mine and had the same problem. Glad to see you found a solution. Next time I have the time I will try again.
I had similar problem at end of last year, delivery of several shipments took too much time, but nothing wasn't lost and all parcels reached destination. Anyway don't worry even in worst case we'll find some decision.
Its a Corker..I had to Put a Ball & Chain on My Button Finger.. It was Killin Me Watching that One... Billy..
