SOTD: Spent part of my sick day yesterday doing a little restoration & honing. The particular razor was part of an abused ebay collection and the only one I hadn't yet salvaged. Chinese-made 'Double-Arrow' 66 with a modified heel—one upon which I had very low expectations. It needed new scales and some blade clean up. I found a pair of acrylic scales I made & had not used and they fit the blade fine. Salvaged an old lead wedge and new brass hardware. Bevel set on a Chosera Pro 1k; Naniwa 3k & 5k; Jnat prefinisher and finisher. HHT4-5. Keen. A little Soap Commander 'Courage' lather and I had a heck of a good shave tonight. Smooooth! Not bad at all for cheap salvage.

A great shave this morning. The CH2 Synthetic whipped the Rum Runner into a rich slick lather. The scent of the soap reminds me of a rum cocktail. I just went with normal 3 pass routine, WTG, XTG and ATG, paying attention to my trouble spots as I went. I was so close to a BBS and having the time, I decided to run the baby down. A few touch ups later, particularly on my neck and I ended with a BBS. Overall a very smooth and irritation free shave. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Today's shave was awesome. Great lather, cool and smellin' great.(SC modified as per GDCarrington instruction). The superspeed with a later logo and a bit different knurling, performed very nicely. The yellow was sharp as all get out.(hope it lasts). Finishing with the iced bue spice. Cool and spicy. OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE BLUE.

An unbelievable easy 2 pass shave, WTG and ATG/XTG, with a nice smooth clean up for another "Dolphin Smooth" shave. Just received these blades, Wondering if they`re the same as the Gillette Twinjector (without Trac II on it)? Time will tell if they compare or not. Anyway their almost the same price. The main thing, is they both give a great shave. is they both seem to deliver a great shave. Here`s to a great shave for all. God Bless.
