Ouch, ouch, ouch - I ended up kind of irritated and slightly-nicked after my shave this morning. I had to do it fast and all I had was time for a one-pass shave. The Karo Fresh cream didn't help one bit - in fact, I blamed it on the results. Thank heavens for the Lubriderm moisturizer, my styptic pencil, and the Alt Innsbruck aftershave. Now, a very unusual shave for Friday morning: Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmat Allah al barakatu! Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Derby day 5 Hamol S/C Lucky Tiger A/S Cream F&C Shambala A/S Splash Guys, as you all know I'm Israeli and this cream comes from a country which would normally be the last place on Planet Earth I'd be able to receive anything from. Hamol comes from Syria, and in all honesty it's a fantastic cream. A beautiful scent, just a small amount is needed for some of the richest, creamiest lather you could ask for, and it's so cooling, refreshing, and soothing. The Lucky Tiger is one of my top-favorite balms and the Shambala a/s splash smells wonderful, not to mention the great menthol effect it has. Check out this brief You Tube video on the Hamol cream: Let me translate for you guys! A customer goes into the barbershop for a haircut and a shave and the barber tells him "Welcome and make yourself at home!" Then he tells him "if you also want a good shave you know we are experts at that also!" After lathering up another customer with this Hamol cream and shaving him he tells him "Na'iman!" which is a Middle Eastern expression used in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and even Israel. It means like "nice haircut" or "nice shave." The reply to that is "Allah inam alik!" (May God make it blissful for you!" How did I get this cream? My mechanic is an Armenian from Syria who was there before the war started and his brother gave him a few tubes of this lovely cream, so he gave me a tube! Wishing everyone a nice weekend in advance!
NOVember!! November 24 Grand Blade Trial - NOVember shave Razor - CJB Greager Blade - (2) Soap - Proraso Green Brush - Omega Pro 48 Post - Alum Happy Turkey Day! I trust you all enjoyed some time with friends and/or family, ate way too much, maybe watched a little football and, overall, enjoyed the day. For those of you in other places around the world.....hopefully some of our holiday mood rubbed off and made your day a bit better. Now, it's on to "black Friday", a term I really despise but suffer through as the shopping season begins. I have an early start tomorrow and a late finish so tonight's shave is the prep for all of that. The Greager is back on the menu tonight with the Dorco AC blade. I chose Proraso and the Pro 48 just because. This was my original setup. Well, I used a Tweezerman before getting the Omega, but I consider this my first "real" setup. Other than the razor of course. Wouldn't have dared with a pain stick back then. Great lather and very slick and wet which I wanted it to be. Three passes with the pain stick and the finish is a very near BBS and it's comfortable and nice. Everytime I work the pain sticks for a few days I get the bug that I could put my DE's down and shave everyday with the sticks. Maybe someday. No complaints or problems and I'm ready to go for tomorrow. We had our traditional dinner today - meaning we went to a buffet and let the pros do the cooking and just ate as much as we could. Well worth every penny. If you're shopping tomorrow don't forget a new bed! And you know, you can always call me to help you with that.....we do deliver anywhere in the U.S.!

Fri. 11/25/16 Magnificent shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. Wonderful, effortless lather from the Arko shave stick. Three passes for a refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Enjoy your day friends.
All I can say I enjoyed this wonderful shave immensely and I wish that there should be peace in the Middle East. The Hamol cream is such a lovely cream - its scent, lather, and cooling skincare are unreal. The Lucky Tiger is a barbershop classic, and I wish the Shambala wouldn't have been discontinued - it's so beautiful.
Hello TSD Today's shave: - Meißner Tremonia "Woody Almond" - Simpson Commodore - Colonial Steel 5/8 - The Body Shop "Arber" Wonderful shave. First one with this nice vintage razor - very smooth WTG, a little more aggressive X/ATG. Haven't used the Meißner soap much lately ... and I must admit, I prefer Tallow/Lanolin soaps nowadays. Nevertheless - the Meißner is still a very good soap and I enjoy using it.
