Thank you. It was a quickie made with an iPhone and some editing in VSCO cam. Sometimes it just works out. Other times I spend a lot of time making a photo and it doesn't work out. Have a great weekend.

 

Saturday Afternoon SOTD

Ready for tomorrow mornings planned shave.
Tomorrow is my sons birthday. The razor and brush is a set I got for when he was born.
I use it on special occasions only which, of course, includes his birthday.
When he's old enough and ready to shave it's his to keep, if he wants to shave at all of course
I got Cella as well for when he was born, but I don't expect it to last that long though.
My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy (in having a "special kit"), and perhaps she's right, but I like to do it this way.
I'd be all over my head in awe if I had a kit from my Dad, so I hope my son will feel the same with this.​

Yes. From just about as bad as it gets to pretty much as good as it gets.

 

It is pretty dang good. I really like how strong the scent is, too many soaps have far too light of scents IMO

Thanks for your feedback. I'm new to these soaps, but I've had my eye on this one.

 

The Cavendish scent is superb

 

I thought Cavendish was awesome. It has some depth to the scent, but it doesn't come from a strong tobacco, maybe a little woody? The pipe scent is there, but overall it isn't a dark scent.

I only had a sample of it and loved it. It was the top soap on my Christmas list this year. [fingers crossed]

 

I have Route 66 Cavendish and I love it. You should try some.

 

If it isn't under the tree, it will be my first purchase.

Have you actually managed to already secure your own B&R adjustable or is that razor part of a passaround? I'm really liking these new adjustables that are coming out. The Parker and Model T look great but the B&R is especially nice.
