  1. Tues 29th Nov.
Have probably like a few folk strayed from the SE Path, and to keep our hand in use a DE or Two. Well I have done that, and today got back to SE. For me it is settled, Todays Shave knocked all recent DE Shaves for Six.

I used an ER "Ambassador " set [ aka " Streamline"] with a fresh blade, also my first try of " Blues " shaving soap. The shave seemed quick, but was extremely smooth and comfortable the slickness of the lather enabling me to get a super close all round shave. The soap comes in a small tin, and providing no post shave problems occur , will use it as a travel soap when we go away on Wed for a couple of days.

Wonderful shave this morning with the Schick N1 loaded with a twin blade. Excellent lather from the Palmolive Cool Menthol shave cream. Three passes for a refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys. :)
  3. Gotta love the GEM Junior Bar Lather Catcher!!!!
  4. Cannot seem to find a Schick N1, appear to be like Gold Dust.
  5. They are rare but well worth the hunt. Fitted with a twin blade it's unstoppable. Don't give up! :happy088:

  7. Thats right! The Schick N1 armed with a twin is THE TERMINATOR!! Whiskers tremble down to their roots , when folks sit around late at night and tell N1 stories :scared003:....

    Blade
    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick I1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Soap Commander Passion
Post: Witch hazel splash, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

The I1 injector worked quite well again this morning. It is efficient and easy to use, rivaling the G1 for me in terms of comfort and ease. These Schick injectors are terrific razors. I was reminded of the high quality of Soap Commander again this morning - great stuff! Really enjoyable shave.

    Have a great day!

  11. There is a NOS N1 on Ebay right now for about 40 bucks. Not ready to go that high yet. I expect to find a used one still.
  12. First go with El Jefe/Schick Proline was mixed. Wonderfully close on the beard with no drama. But the heavy brass handle (and perhaps the alignment) made for a less than pleasurable head shave. I never like heavy handles for the head so I can't blame El Jefe for that. Lighter handle - - the Hawk handle fits - - next time.

Got a pretty decent shave today, but it was time for the blade to go bye bye, so a few splotches didn't quite get there. Shoulda switched after the first pass, but I am still learning what to expect from these blades, and finished it out. Oh well, we get to try again tomorrow.
  14. I hear that! I'm still waiting to see one of those $2 flea Market D or F types......:lyrtuy5:
  15. You'll get em' tomorrow buddy! :happy088:

  16. Wed 30th Nov
Used ES Claymore with 2nd Blade Type, a Kai Titan mild. Shave was good ,smooth and close. But as with the Feather
Pro Guard may have been too cautious on the first outing , as some areas not as good as they should be.
