  1. I am still working on den reduction. I have three different Gillette adjustables, so I am going to focus on these as I will likely narrow down to just one. It's not too late for Adjustable August is it?
  2. Just call it Dial December and you should be back on track.;)
  3. I am in for Decadent December. I will rotate through some high end soaps and my favorite brushes. I will primarily use my SE Mongoose and Cobra but I will use my birth year Super Speed on and around my birthday. I will also test out the new Aluminum ATT razor when it arrives.
  4. I like how you think! :happy088:
  5. I am developing a creeping fear that this is some horrible practical joke that I will unwittingly and unexpectedly enjoy, thereby magnifying the ensuing ridicule to the point of morbid incredulity. Kind of like the time I walked with lions in Africa.

THEM: Let's tell the new guy it's "a thing" a see if he will do it".

ME: That was both terrifying and incredible! You guys have to try it!

THEM: Oh snap. He actually did it. NOW what?

  6. So what you are saying is, don't try it on picture day unless I intend to attract chicks with said picture?

  7. Actually that sounds a bit like the popsicle stick shave origin. Psychic!
  8. What is the popsicle stick shave origin?

  9. One of the guys saw a video of someone using a razor made out of popsicle sticks and a blade and "dared" the group to try it. He was joking, of course, as no sane person would do that. Well, in theory anyway. I believe a total of 9 of us ended up doing just that on July 5th, which we took to calling "Cinco de Julio" in honor of the shaves that day. Fun stuff. Definitely not for anyone who has never used a straight razor though.
  10. That's amazing! Sounds like something I might actually try. For reference:

  11. Before December actually arrives, I need some help clarifying how to add a photo to my post. The only time I tried it, the photo showed up as a thumbnail. (see example attached) I would like to post photos and have them show up nice and large in the post.

  12. Are you uploading using the "Image" button on the top?
  13. That's the spirit! We're not kidding, no practical jokes ON people, but lots of questionable life choices in shaving.

    Here are some examples.
  14. Oh you'll fit in just fine here.

  15. Like that?

If you are on a browser, you must select insert "full image". If on Tapatalk, not sure why it's thumbnails.
  16. Shenanigans and Malarky?! I'll have to call a sit down with the Cartel to discuss allowing Marlarky.
  17. ...on Malarky (post 256)
  18. Finally waking up from the turkey coma I put myself into on Thanksgiving... December already?!!? Time is flying by...

My focus for December will be....ummmm......no clue yet. More then likely will alternate between The Goose and The Pain Stick this month. The Fat will be reserved for my weekend shaves as I have been using it non stop lately but I cant go without it so it will stay in the rotation. Throughout the week days I will either grab Tabac or MDC. The Veg will stay in my rotation full time simply because it's The Veg and that's all that needs to be said.

The Goose is always flawless for me and while I have perfected my technique with the Pain Stick I still have the regular bloody shave with it. You know what. It's December. I'm in a giving mood. Going pain stick this whole month. Make sure to follow up on my shaves as I plunge myself into "Dismemberment In December".
  19. Precedence duly noted. Let the Malarky commence! :bounce017::bounce015:
  20. If the Malarky leads to Shenanigans, it's SOP.
No one warned John @John Ruschmeyer about the cause & effects so his first one was free.
