Hey guys, I am new to wet shaving. I have a total of two wet shaves under my belt so I am pretty close to virgin. :ashamed001 I had been using a mug and soap for years but never thought about shaving with a DE safety razor until I stumbled onto this gem of a resource. I received my new Merkur 38C yesterday and promptly took it for a spin. A slow spin at that! This morning went a bit better and I decided I better join in on on the fun here. Thanks to everyone who contributed to my new sickness. :happy102 j/k
Welcome!! I think you'll find wet shaving more enjoyable if you don't shave under your belt. These razors work best when shaving the face

Need some more work around my chin however.:ashamed001 The Chebb: I have never tried any Havana Club rums... but I will be on the look out for them. It would be hard for me to pick a favorite so I'll list a few in my stash. I have some Cruzan Single Barrel Estate, Cruzan Estate Dark 5 yr, Mount Gay Extra Old, Gosling's Black Seal & 151, Pussers, Foxy's Fire Water and a few others that escape me. Do you think I have a problem? I usually drink with coke and lime or on the rocks.
