    The Arko Shaving Stick face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #61 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette NEW LC with a Personna Super blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Dec 2: Shaved this afternoon getting ready for date night. Even though all I'm doing is going to a local bar to watch the Huskies play Colorado. New blade - Gillette Silver Blue. Merkur 34c, SOC boar brush, bowl, and a new soap - Taylor Sandalwood. Finished with a bit of Fine Platinum. The Silver Blue is a very nice blade. Very close shave just a little irritation under my chin. I rate this blade in my top three so far in the 18 blade sample pack test. Astra SP and the Lord Platinum being the other two top blades. 6 more blades to test. By the way - Taylor Sandalwood is excellent. Great lather!

    Okay so today was one of those two shave days. This evenings shave for a night out with the wife was just amazing. New AS/Soap, new razor, and great new scents.

    Razor - WCS midnight collection 175B
    Blade - Gillette silver blue (2)
    Brush - Crown King synthetic
