I love that Thater, my friend.

After my shave today my wife told me I smelled like an old barber. One thing I'll say is that this Hamol cream is a treasure. Does it ever smell nice, its lather is among the best I've ever seen from a cream, and it's fairly cooling with a good post-shave feeling. The Lemon Chill witch hazel gave me a ton and a half of extra freeze, and then I helped myself to a couple of sprays of the Pe Re Ja Lemon cologne from Turkey. Despite the Derby blade being pretty well kaputt, I still managed to get a damned good BBS shave. For this week I'll be using a different brand of blade in my Super Speed.

TOBS Avocado & County Uncle Silvertip (my 1st brush)
Gillette New LC paired w/a fresh Derby blade (I find this razor aggressive so I pair it w/a mild blade. Great combo for me)
Witch hazel rinse, followed by British Sterling ASB & finishing w/a dab of British Sterling EDC

2-passes over 2-day stubble for an outstanding near BBS shave

This is the razor that sent me down the wet shaving rabbit hole in the first place. My grandpa's Nielsen's Never Fail. I hadn't used it since my fourth shave with a straight. Coming back to it 50 shaves later was really gratifying. It gave me a fantastic shave and the difference since last using it was very noticeable.

excellent photo filter today Robert! I had a chance to pickup an PAL Injecto-Matic little over a month ago at local antique store but when I asked about the price they wanted more than I had paid for my repeater so I passed. Now I cant find my repeater so injector week has been put off for at least another week as I continue the search. Sucks getting old!
