  1. Hello folks, sorry I'm late to the party. Here's my SOTD for today-

1940's Gillette Fat Handle Tech/DE Razorworks Steampunk Tech.
    Lord Super Chrome blade.
Simpsons Duke II pure badger brush.
    Trumpers GFT shave cream.
    Nivea post shave balm.
    Avon Mesmerize as lotion.
    Avon Mesmerize cologne.

I feel a little funky tonight, so I dug out my funkiest razor. My Steampunk Tech. I am glad I did. I had a leisurely two pass shave, and I was able to leave my cannula off of my face the whole time. That's how relaxing tonight's shave was. The GFT shaving cream was very slick and protective and the aroma of this fine product was awesome. Topped it all off with some Avon Mesmerize for an excellent shave experience. A DFS/BBS for sure. Have a great night all.

  2. Razor: Gillette Red Tip A-4 1955
Blade: Pol Silver Super Iridium (1)
    Brush: WDC-8 w/ TGN Finest
Soap: First Canadian Shave Soap Co. Bay Rum/Lime (Sample)
    Aftershave: Captain's Choice Bay Rum

Luckily ended up with a very close shave tonight after not getting a great lather. I don't think I added enough soap to the bowl and didn't realize it until I was almost finished. User error. :)
I was however very happy with the blade and of course my Red Tip. Finished off with Captain's Choice Bay Rum.

    Friday's

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Arko Shaving Stick
    Jayaruh #142
    Gillette SS 46-47
    Personna Super
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    T.N. Dickinson's WH
    Pinaud Clubman

The Arko Shaving Stick face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #142 black badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette SS 46-47 with a Personna Super blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  14. Thanks! I like shiny things!

  19. I thought about you when I was in Vietnam a couple of weeks ago. The Vietnamese have found a good use for Dorco blades. Harvesting rice[IMG]
