  3. Nice brush.
  4. Thanks again for sending it! Kathleen did I fantastic job on this one!
  5. It was my most expensive brush for a while - I think I spent $40 on it in 2014. It is a great little horsehair brush. I've never had any issues with it and it can eat up some soap.

  7. December 11

Muhle R41 head (2013) & Weber Bulldog handle
    Astra SP blade (3)
    Semogue 830 boar brush
    Tabac shave stick
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Alt Innsbruck

I enjoyed a nice one-pass plus touch-up shave this morning for an easy darn fine shave. The Astra SP was smooth as silk and is perfectly matched to the R41 head. The Alt Innsbruck was a classy finish to a great shave. I have my first-ever Perma-Sharp Super blade loaded up for tomorrow's shave.

Enjoy your Sunday! It's wonderful to think we're only two weeks away from Christmas.

  8. It would be appropriate to state that:

    1. You were not bothered by flying insects during the shave.
    2. Your chances of contracting ringworm following the shave are almost nil.

  10. Razor: Gillette Red Tip A-4 1955
Blade: Pol Silver Super Iridium (4)
Brush: Tres Amigo Desert Ironwood Beehive w/Sunrise Synthetic
Soap: Reef Point Soaps Dragon's Blood
    Aftershave: Myrsol Blue

My usual 3 pass shave, but without a cleanup. This brush is simply amazing. Fits my hand perfectly and whips up an outstanding lather. DFS.
We are beginning to experience A Polar Vortex which is bringing a boat load of snow and freezing temperatures.

  16. Thanks very much Clint. Staying warm is easy, driving will be difficult. :)

  17. I can only imagine what driving would be like. People here in Atlanta have enough trouble with a drizzling rain. :D
  18. I'll try and take a photo from my car window tomorrow if the storm its hard. Have a good week Clint. :happy088:

Two quick and easy passes with a Triton half and Barbasol Soothing Aloe. Very nice shave. About to setttle in for DAL-NYG after GB win and a DEN loss. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado.

    Have a nice Monday!
    :)
