One thing I've noticed, if I shave every day I get more shaves...If I skip days, the heavy whisker growth cuts down on the blade's longevity...

Amazing razor. Even with the aggressive head it's way more mild in feel than anything that approaches it in efficiency (Bunny, Hawk, General etc). I could see where some might prefer more feedback but no question the most enjoyable head shave I've had for the ease with which a totally smooth finish is achieved. I did manage one nick which I attribute to not yet being used to the weight. I prefer the longer handle of the PAL Adjustable but the Supply would be way too heavy for my needs with a longer handle given its construction. A job incredibly well done and a steal at the price.

I shaved with mine yesterday, the post office delivered at noon and right on time cause I shave nights only. The Personna blades resemble a lot like their GEM PTFE SS counterpart so that was a big plus for me. Shaved with the dot 1 plate and all went nice and smooth, its mildish but not super mild like the Feather ASD2. Got very good shave with it and tonight I'll be shaving with the 2 dot plate and day after tomorrow 3 dot plate. Wonder if the blades will be as long lasting like the GEM PTFE, but if not then if I get 6 shaves of them I'll be happy camper considering I paid $20 for 100 Injector PTFE blades, max I get from the GEM PTFE is 12 shaves, can go more but after the 10-12 shaves they start to tug and I need to buff a lot which can give me weepers.

I did one pass last night for shits and giggles with the classic plate and Personnas before switching plate and blades this morning. Trust me you'll be fine with the aggressive plate. Curious to see how a trimmed Artist Club performs.

I like to try out all plates first and since I have always liked mid or aggressive razors most likely I will settle for the dot 3 plate. As far as blades testing I dont need to, the Personna looks like is super sharp, super smooth and super cheap, no need to waste money on other brands. Was worried because I ordered 300 of them without even trying them or if I will even like injector type of shaving since this is my first injector, but so far so good. Got the injector blades along with the GEM's to get the free shipping... lol I ended up with 400 gem PTFE and 320 Injector PTFE now, not a single regret on the purchase. The Injector PTFE resembles a lot like the GEM PTFE in sharpness and smoothness, the only DE that comes close to this feeling is the GSB and the 7'oclock super stainless green

With 720 SE/Injector blades you're set for life.

not 720 injector only, its a split between the Injector PTFE and GEM PTFE and should last a very long time.... Overall this is what I got in total and not planning to buy any more blades:

    - 400 Personna GEM PTFE SS
    - 320 Personna Injector PTFE SS
    - 100 Gillette Silver Blue
    - 100 Gillette 7 o'clock Sharp Edge (yellow)
    - 100 Gillette 7 o'clock Super Stainless (green)
    - 100 Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum (black)
    - 100 Astra SP
    - 100 Rockwell ( to arrive with the Rockwell Model T )

Ok, 18 years worth if you change blades every five days on average.

something in those lines, and yes I shave every day and switch a blade every 5-6 shaves depending on how the blade feels. The GEM PTFE can last me up to 10 shaves, maybe 12 if I get a really good one.

I used my Schick Type M today, on setting 4. Wow! I really like this. Easy 2 pass shave. Just a little more aggressive than the Type N, but so much better, at least with a normal Schick blade.

    Today's shave: Sunday, December 11, 2016

    Asylum Rx
    Feather AC Professional blade (3)
    Whipped Dog synthetic brush
    Mitchell's Wool Fat soap
    Pinaud Lilac Vegetal aftershave

I'm really liking this razor a lot. In addition to being a great shaver, the flared end of the handle makes it fit nicely in my shaving stand. :happy088:

Fantastic shave this morning with the PAL Adjustable on the second to last setting. Excellent creamy, rich, crisp smelling lather from the Arko Extra Performance shave cream. Three refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. :)

Pleased that unlike others I can get a good shave with the S/S PAL. Today was no exception, and by taking care and not rushing got a smooth, comfortable and all great all round shave. Who needs a Modern S/S SE !! , though I have got one and one in the post :);) .

    Blade
    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: Trader Joe's synthetic
    Lather: Stirling Ozark Mountain
Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Nice shave with the G1. Feeling redundant with that phrase, but it works day in and out. Stirling's Ozark Mountain works really well, too. Great soap.

    Have a great Monday!
