December 15, 2016 Option Five Razor Feather Romera Olive Wood Synthetic MdC Fougere Witch Hazel Fine Lavender Another very good shave this morning. This Romera brush is about the perfect size for MdC in the jar. As usual the MdC was very easy to load and lather. A quick 3 pass shave with touch ups ended in a near BBS. As others have noted, this is one very loud razor. I really don't notice much blade feel at all but find the Option Five to be very efficient. I finished off the shave with a splash of Fine Lavender. Sorry to hear it lit your face up. Have heard Brutalt Bra has a great scent but others have reported having similar problem with skin irritation to the fragrance/EO in the soap. So your not alone.

SOTD: Early morning shave using this fine F.W. Engels 'Leader' 13/16" full-hollow round point; Soap Commander 'Courage' soap and matching menthol balm, Brad Sears SW silvertip. After weeks of heavy Sheffield blades and keen JWests, shaving with a thin, full-hollow ground Solingen blade is quite a dramatic change. Feathery-feel, smooth and very noisy. Different—quite comfy—just a different feel. Excellent shave.
12/15/16 Nice and uneventful shave this morning. The Route 66 soap made a quick and slick lather with little effort and the 5 day old Feather blade smoothly mowed down the stubble in 2 passes. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
Thursday SOTD......... RazoRock XXX face lathered w/Semogue Boar Gillette New LC paired w/a Derby Extra blade Alum rinse followed by Nivea PSB finishing w/a splash of Floid Vigoroso aftershave 2-passes over 2-day growth for an excellent shave!!
What a great shave this was - ok, it was a bit hurried but still I got a BBS result thanks to my awesome Super Speed/Astra combination. The Plissoft whipped the Paradise Frost soap into rich, fragrant lather (with a bit of cooling) and the Amici aftershave was such a nice ending.
