I can't remember specifics, but as I recall it had that distinctive Lakeland taste, sort of a soapy/flowery kind of taste. I PIF'd that to someone but can't remember who.
Don't put it off. Most men resist it, I did. I'm still adjusting to them, but very glad I got them and wish I had not waited.
Smokingpipes.com has Savinelli New Art pipes on sale now. Somehow they fuse briar and acrylic on the stem, which definitely gives a distinctive look. Unfortunately, they all appear to be 6mm filter pipes with smooth finish. I'm a bit more partial to sandblasts.
I did a 2/3 load of OGS, per usual. Happy to report there are no issues yet. It's a good reminder though, new pipes definitely smoke hotter than ones that are well caked.
Another bowl of John Bull with a hot cup o Hazelnut coffee as I watch it snow......again! lol -4 F out also. Guess there's no more trying to deny that winter is here in NH.
Another bowl of John Bull and a cup of coffee. It's currently -7 F today. Odds are another busy busy day for me.
I shall have to head on over and check them out. You should check out BoB; I've been a member over there since 06' and would love to see some of the gang from here over there as well. Maybe even draw some of the folks from over there over to here as well. lol
Bowl of Mac Baren Vanilla Creme on a very cold, VERY snowy day. -5 F and been snowing since about 1am. Bout a foot of snow so far; and it's supposed to keep going into tomorrow. Fun fun. lol
Newminister Superior Round, 2 coins folded and stuffed in. MM Missouri Pride. Gunner is helping with a little yard work.
Nice bowl of John Bull in a Dr. Grabow Grand Duke. Nothing like a good Latakia blend after a good dinner! =)
