Revisited the Schick G1 today and finally found the sweet spot. Oh my! What a great shave. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Now I'm not saying you have to get some 'twins'.....But I've heard, a 'twin' in the I1 is like "Heaven" But thats just what I've heard....What I know is...The I types are pretty close to Heaven with any blade....The only I type I have is an I2 which I love dearly, one of my two favorite razors of all time...BUT the Twins don't work in the I2. So I've been thinking of getting an I1 just so I can try the 'Twins'...Out of all the razors the Twins work in, I believe the I1 would be my personal fave, because I love the handle, length, shape weight, balance, everything.. But what scares me.....is what if the I1 with the Twin exceeded the legend and totally shifts all my perceptions about shaving......And then I'm a broken down old schick-head wondering the streets with an " injector on my back"and an empty twin blade dispenser in my pocket, looking for twins to feed my I2.....This could be the start of another whole Post Apocolyptic Series.....Twin Blade Runner........Or..... Dare I say......maybe sometimes, ignorance is bliss.....
Wed. 12/21/16 A truly wonderful shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. Three passes for an effortless refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys.

Thanks I'm feeling much better today. Got some good sleep time yesterday, so much so I didn't shave. I'll shave this morning for a change. Thank you all for your kind wishes. Have a great Wednesday!!!
Twin do for an I1 what they do for the Schick Adjustable. A different category of shave altogether, simply Wow! But, fear not, they do not have this effect on all injectors. I've tried the Twins in the Hussy and the Bunny for example and it was no big deal - I still prefer a plain ole Schick in those. No Apocalypse of broken dreams and realities on the horizon.
SOTD December 21, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Straight Razor: Genco Rescue Razor: Schick I1 injector Brush: Artisan badger Lather: Stirling Ozark Mountain Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, WTG (cheeks, for practice), touch-up Third straight shave. Pretty darn good results. I did most of my upper face in two WTG passes. Only one tiny weeper near a pesky mole on my chin. Otherwise, pretty drama free shave. The I1 cleaned everything else exceptionally well. Nice shave overall. Straights are very interesting......... Hope you have a great day!
Thanks, Jared! My cheeks in particular are pretty dang smooth. I can see how straights provide really close shaves.
I'm afraid it is that good. One pass beard and head with the B1/Plus Platinum followed by two with the I1 /vintage Twins. I can't say I was wowed by the B1 at first go but the I1 with Twins achieves the highest levels of efficiency and comfort. Right up there with the AC equipped Hawk in terms of efficiency but without any fear of a blood feast. The feel is not dissimilar to that of a good cartridge razor but without the irritation I always experience with a multblade razor like a Fusion. Just great. And surprisingly to me, no problem with clogging even with the exclusive use of shave oil. The H1 and O clone so equipped may be smoother (I don't have an L) but I don't think as efficient. Dog's Danglies indeed.
