    The Velvet safety razor is my best razor all day long. Just seen one for sale £2! They are cheap for a rare vintage razor.

    Muhle R41. Its the only DE razor Ive ever used that I could go 2-3 days between shaves. The R89 is great too but it doesnt shave as close as the 41 does.

    I have to add a recent acquisition into the nominations for best 3 piece razor, Rocnel Adjustable. It is a 3 piece if you don't count the spring inside. A very impressive razor and clever engineering.
