I have to say that the Stubble Trubble soap I was gifted by Secret Santa is as good as anything I have in my den. It's lather can stand up with Stirling, B&M, Soap Commander, with no trouble. It loads and lathers as easily as (very similar to) Chiseled Face, but is twice the performer. (IMO) The scent of the Pirate Cowboy is a bay rum mixed with something (according to the maker, he doesn't say), but it is a very light bay with no clove, which I love. It is a complex scent, and I am a bad describer of scents.

I know there are a million good soaps out there; too many to try them all, but if someone is looking for a good vegan soap, this one is TOP notch.

Fourth shave with the Bunny, different shave products, but same result as my third shave. A very smooth three pass BBS shave.

 

Gem 1912, GEM blade shimmed with an old style thick injector blade. TOBS Sandalwood. Good reliable shaver.

The Cobra Classic was the first of the modern SE's using the AC blades, and still (IMHO) the closest shaving - although the Asylum Rx comes pretty darn close.

This was my first ever SE shave. I read the advice here from experienced SE shavers. I was careful in prep, made a good lather, and proceeded slowly and with no pressure. I quickly found the right angle and I was surprised at how easily the two day stubble was taken down with. I was also surprised at the level of audible feedback!

WTG, XTG, and cleanup XTG the other direction on my chin and moustache area. Close, comfortable shave.

Damaskeene with injector blade shimmed GEM Blue Star (I know, got em cheap). Following traditional cargo pants strop blade had phenomenal initial sharpness and smoothness, near BBS in two passes, but seemed to run out of steam mid head shave. Perhaps more of a sprinter than distance runner but really enjoyed the beard shave. Happy Holidays y'all.

An excellent shave with the Rx provided a great start to Christmas Day. We're spending the holiday with friends and it occurs to me that someone should market a nice travel case to hold this fine razor. It's too wide to fit in a generic case.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Simple, easy, efficient shave with the G1 injector and The Fat. Superb, bountiful lather was defeated in two passes. Nice result in the end.

Just a supplemental note, 5pm check-in finds me as close to BBS as I ever get ten hours on. Blades may be a dulled pile of rust tomorrow but impressive combination nonetheless.
