Maggard v3/Scotch & Stowe frankenrazor Rainbow blade Plisson/L'Occitane brush CO Bigelow SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Skin Bracer A/S w/added menthol Good Lather does not always equal good shave. It seems the Rainbow blade doesn't like the Maggard/S&S combo so it was just a so-so shave. That's ok, there's always tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks

Dec. 26/2016 Mon. Razor: Personna flex injector (5) Brush: VDH Badger Lather: Proraso Green Pre Shave: Homemade A/S: Aqua Velva/Aveeno Moistureizer Newspaper Date: Dec, 9,1943 I have NO hairs on my face right now! A two pass shave that was as close to perfect as you can get, except for two little tiny weepers. We`re talking fish here. Two passes, WTG/ATG with a slight amount of clean up, the Kleenex test revealed 2 tiny pink spots, which disappeared with a little pressure. The Aqua Velva stung pretty good. These dolphins here feel pretty smooth. I had to go to my flex head because my meds are starting to fail more often lately. Guess I will have to visit Doc again soon, if my tremors come back, hopefully it`s just a temporary setback. At any rate, I got a fantastic shave. Happy Camper, and Happy New Year. Bill

So pleased with yesterday's performance, shimmed Damaskeene again, this time with a fresh GEM stainless and shave oil only. Unlike yesterday's carbon blade, this blade made it through the full head shave with flying colors, no temptation to touch up with the Hawk. I'll be able to judge this evening whether it shaves as close on the beard as its carbon brother but a superlative shave.
Menthol Monday We are having a record high temperature for this date - 50°. All the snow is melting and we might even get a thunderstorm. I decided to go for a warm weather scent today in Adagio, and I get to enjoy a nice menthol cool. The Aristocrat made two smooth passes without drama using a Personna lab blue blade. Prep: Myrsol Emulsion Soap: B-M Adagio Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Blade: Personna Lab Blue AS: B-M Adagio
