You can adjust the the head front to back, or side to side. Sort of like a slant but often referred to as a "tilt" head. I like playing around with it!
Dec. 30/2016 Fri. Razor: Pal Adj. Injector (3) Brush VDH Badger Lather: La Joja Pre. Shave: Hibco Nag Champa A/S: Aqua Velva/ Hibco AS Butter Balm Newspaper Date: July 23,1945 Dialed the Pal back to where I originally had it, did three passes, WTG/ATG/ XTG with some clean up, resulting in a shave that only another fish could appreciate (no scales). I`m beginning to enjoy this Pal more each time I use it. I will have to rotate through all my injectors(5). I`m thinking of a PIF for the J1 And G4. They`re old friends, but they do duplicate some of my more recent acquisitions. I`ll have to think on it for awhile. I AM going to get rid of some more aggressive razors that I don`t use anymore. Well, Happy New Year and God Speed to all. Happy Shaving. Bill
Had not planned on going nine innings with these Schick blades of indeterminate vintage (had the Injectomatic at the ready) but hey life is full of surprises, the double Schickified Shakey went all the way. $7.99 for 11oz KMF, pretty good stuff. (Addendum : Apparently modern Chick blades)
Dr. Jon has got it going on. This was a superb shave in every aspect. The scent of 1803 is a complex combination of fruits like pineapple, florals like geranium, and a dry down that reminds me of sandalwood. It's more than that, but my nose isn't as good at picking up elements. The lather is the best vegan and easily top five of any I've used. The post shave feel is among the best as well. The aftershave carries on the great scent while providing comforting skincare. Very little burn and my skin is left soft and supple. Prep: Myrsol Emulsion Soap: Dr. Jon's 1803 Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow Razor: Merkur Futur on six Blade: voskod AS: Dr. Jon's 1803 Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
SOTD December 30, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick I1 injector Brush: Vulfix badger Lather: Simpson's Luxury Cream Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Skin Bracer aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Nice shave with Simpson's and the I1 injector. This cream lathered up so easily. Nice glide and protection. I had to touch-up a little more than normal to get a regular shave, so I think the blade wasn't the best. I changed it out for a new one for tomorrow's shave. Have a great day!
My sotd Razor - Barbasol Brush - semogue 830 Blade - Astra sp Soap - razorock xxx This shave was rough!! I used a new blade so I don't know if it's the blade or the razor, but it cut me up pretty nice. I may have to try a different blade and see. Happy shaving gents
