    Just took ours down today.

Do you have a certain date you won't take it down before, but has to be down by?

Coming down today. To me, it seems kind of odd to have the Christmas tree around much past New Years. Time to move forward into the new year and leave 2016 behind!

Mine comes down every New Year's Day. The outside lights usually come down at the same time, depending on how lazy I feel. I took them down yesterday as well. Regardless, they are unplugged until next Christmas season.

I took it down this morning, along with the outdoor lights and snowman. I usually get a bit depressed taking everything down, but I'm fine by the next day.

  10. All down. We bought a real tree this year and all new ornaments. Always wanted one of the trees you see in stores. Marching ornaments without all the handmade or gifted ones. Have to say next year will be two trees. One like this year and one with all the history of when the kids where little

Came down today. We had a real tree but didn't water it faithfully. It was quite light and crispy when I removed it. We would've gotten it down a little earlier but my wife has been sick the past few days.

Hope your wife is feeling better. Tough to be sick around Christmas.

We don't put up a tree. If I want to see one, I go to my son's house. Last time I was there before this past Christmas was 2010. I get holidays off only if the land on my off day.

Not yet. The wife wants it up a few more days. We go through this every year. I have to be the bad guy and insist we take down the (fire hazard) tree.

Ours get taken down the first weekend after Christmas because that's when the Boy Scouts are out in the neighborhood and will haul them away for you (for a small donation).

We put ours up the Friday after Thanksgiving. My wife wouldn't mind if it came down Dec. 26th.
