Another great shave this morning. The handle shape and scrub of the knot make the Rover a joy to use face lathering. Since Route 66 is so easy to lather, I can enjoy the process even more. With a base of rich slick lather, I repeated yesterday's 2 pass routine, XTG & ATG. A little touch up along the jaw line and with the exception of one spot on my neck, I have a perfect BBS shave. I'll keep working on that spot but in general I find my SE razors get that area better. Working through a long neglected aftershave sample back, I finished the shave with a splash of Floid Amber. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
  13. Thanks very much Charlie. Are you still using DE razors?
  14. Excellent photo and display of fine products Clint. That is a beautiful brush.
  15. Thank you Doug. The Rover is one of my favorite brushes. I hope you have a great day my friend.

Nice shave this morning. This brush is one I got from @Drygulch in a PIF last year. It's one of my favorites. Great lathering and always a good result when I use it. Nice lather today and a mild shave from the Personna. I enjoyed it and look forward to using it more.

    Have a great day!

I enjoyed a two-pass shave this morning (WTG and XTG) for an easy near-BBS shave before going to the gym. This has been my set up so far this month. The scent and performance of the Jabonman Eufros soap is top notch. The scent literally fills my bathroom and lingers for hours after the shave. My opinion on the synthetic brush has improved since I started using this soap. For some reason, it works better when I load soap off the puck vs. using a shave stick. I finished with Fine Platinum before heading out for the day's events.

I hope all you working stiffs and my fellow Men of Leisure are having a great week!

    Razorock Plissoft Brush
    TSD Lanolin English Fern SS
    Gillette SS
    TSD English Fern AS

It was a great gym shave this morning. I really like the TSD Lanolin soaps, and I am going to miss them. I am glad I picked up a few of the shave sticks, though. This Razorock brush is the perfect size for my dopp kit, as it is just a bit smaller than my Stirling brush. This was also my first shave with this razor, which I won in the TSD raffle (NB17 still intact!). It also seems to fit the dopp kit well, as it is such an easy shaver, it is perfect for rushed mornings.

The TSD Lanolin soaps had some good performance on the post shave feel. My skin feels very soft and well moisturized. I didn't comment on the last two shaves as I have been a bit rushed. I honestly knew the Stubble Trubble from yesterday would do well, as I had tried this previously. It didn't disappoint yesterday, either. A terrific post shave feel. The Cremo was offered a little less performance in this area, although still not bad. After for shaves, I still would not say I have found a bad performing soap in this area. I still can tell a difference between using the PSB and not, but none of these soaps are leaving me overly dry.
