I used my Ever Ready 1914 this morning and got another fantastic shave! I had a comfortable BBS in two passes. This razor, paired with a Gem Personna stainless steel blade, is awesome! The shaves are fast and effortless.
The Gillette injector with a Chinese Schick blade was on deck today. I am really impressed with its performance. It will be up for a full week the second week of January. Have a great day, ya'll.
SOTD January 4, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Personna injector Brush: Artisan badger Lather: Route 66 Cavendish Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Ozark Mountain Trail aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up This Personna is quite comfortable, but it is certainly mild. I have a little bit of stubble that is normally taken off with my other injectors after the same passes. But that's okay....it's not a big deal. I really enjoy this razor. It's comfortable and easy to use. Nice lather from Route 66 Cavendish and a good shave in the end. Have a great day!
I want to like the Hawk more than I do..No question about its efficiency, but I don't find it a particulaly comfortable shave. Maybe I'd like the Kai Mild blade more than the Feather Pro. The Supply SE is its opposite, ridiculously comfortable if not quite as efficient, much better suited to my head shave, but a bit non musical for the music fan. Yeah that handle looks ridiculous on the Hawk, just thought I'd try a heavy handle for a change. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I followed your lead, and got an awesome shave aswell.....And it is a glorious, LOUD sound, I have always loved it's voice.....Sounds like the sound they used in the Three Stooges when Curly would use a Str8....lol!
Y You're right about the sound and the Three Stooges are just hilarious! I used my Ever Ready again this morning and got yet another fantastic shave. Sorry, but no pictures this morning... late for work! This razor just effortlessly mows down the whiskers and gives BBS every time. This razor is so underrated and might not be getting enough love from the wet shaving community. That's okay. I can just keep this secret to myself! Btw Bird, it was one of your posts about this razor that got me on board the ER train. Thanks!
Six Shaves in with The Supply on a 3. Plate and NOS blade, though a mild shave have just got a very smooth close and trouble free Shave . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

SOTD January 5, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Personna injector Brush: Artisan badger Lather: Route 66 Cavendish Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Skin Bracer, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up The mild Personna provided another nice shave for me this morning. One big pass with touch-ups is all I need on a workday. It's not as smooth as a multiple pass shave, of course, but it works just fine. Amazing lather from Route 66. Nice shave all things considered. I'm enjoying this Personna. Have a great day!
Back to the SE today...Much better than yesterday. Still not the same results as a DE for me, but darn close.
Second shave with this Enders Speed Blade. I got a nice shave. I am palm stropping it after each shave. I will pull this out for a week of shaves on the 15th.
On the road with my beautiful Schick C3. This shaves like a dream and I don't think I could get any smother. Hot water preparation AOS Lavender PSO Haslinger Honig Shave Soap Simpson Case Pure Badger Schick C3 Repeater Schick (1) AOS Lavender After Shave Balm Happy shaving - Karl
