It actually looks large enough to use as a lather bowl....Ugh. More stuff to buy, lol.

Wow! I'm surprised at how large the "small" model is. That's quite a bit of room in there.

Another purchase to budget for. I've been converted to the joys of warm lather and wish to keep it going full time during the shave, not just the first pass.

Now that's the kind of scuttle i want. To bad I can't afford it at the moment. I've had to promise myself not to spend to much money on my SAD's. Allthough this scuttle....:drool

The is a button at the bottom left of the page to get the site in English. In addition, there are prices listed for the scuttles in the gallery pictures.

  16. Those really look nice. Too bad the US dollar is so weak. :(

Great looking scuttle. Does water pass under the bottom or just around the sides?
I got the newest scuttle from Georgetown for Father's Day, water passes around and under the bottom. It's really a great scuttle for the price, I just wish it would keep the water hot longer.
I'd love to have one of those Monster Scuttles from Schwarzweisskeramik, however the cost and shipping is a little rich for my blood, I guess I'll keep truckin' with my $50.00 plus Georgetown Scuttle... (unless it breaks!!)

No one has added to this thread in nearly two years, but I just ordered a small white one from Mamma Bear's soaps. They said the heat retention and lathering area was very similar to the large one. I look forward to using something that has had such great reviews.
