Mine just finished drying and i had to give it a whiff. I tend to do that before a shave and after it dries.

I do sniff mine. I'm not a fan of funky badger smell, but I do like smelling it after it has been lathered a few times.

My dad was a taxidermist for many years. Badgers were by far the worst smelling animals. Most animals didn't really smell at all, but badgers, even back from the tannery, were horrible--just like the the way most of these brushes smell before being de-funked.

No thanks Bryan, but you are welcome to enjoy. I hope this is not an indicator of a direction that your soaps are going. I hope not, your scents are fantastic! Please don't!

I always thought my mentholated soaps and creams smelled like cat p*ss when I used the 2 new badger brushes I purchased. It took over a month of using strong scented soaps to get that smell away. Those same soaps and creams don't smell like cat p*ss anymore.

  17. My brush tends to carry the scent of the TOBS Sandalwood cream that I've been using lately. It isn't overwhelming, but you can get some whiffs of it when you walk into the bathroom. I like it, my wife hasn't commented.
