  1. Your boat is beached. Just saying...
  2. This bottle of Osage is part of history and should be enshrined in the TSD hall of fame and preserved for posterity.
  3. Decision reached. Saw @Keithmax online and made a choice...

  5. Day with Omega silver tip

No work today so decided to give the brush what it is best suited to, a hot scuttle and cream. Today QCS and Dovo Bismarck are joining the party. I just touched up the razor on my new Zulu Grey stone so wanted to check out the new stone. The brush is huge and splays great so it stays good and in the scuttle. Not only does this big knot makes lots of lather it releases it too.

The edge was smooth but did not feel as sharp as the razors I finish on my Shapton glass 16k. Four passes plus a bonus WTG pass. Zero blood and zero irritation but just a hair short of BBS. Still an excellent shave.

  6. What is the worst that could happen? I pass ATG, no problem. I guess you need some excitement on the prairie.
  7. It's actually slower than Murray KY out here, if that is to be believed!
  8. Hmmm. Back on the prairie. Which means you went past STL. No Paris Donuts. I'm confused.
  9. I picked up some Osage a while back in hopes of menthol glory. I found myself wanting more kick out of it. Barbasol Brisk is holding it down for now.

  10. I totally think it's strong, but Osage isn't insanity. Order TSD Iced SubZero AS Milk or Splash. It's the real deal. You can also order a product called M Bomb. You need M Bomb. Trust.

  11. Jet. Set. Red. Neck.
  12. There are probably 150 photos of me using TSD SubZero, fwiw
  13. If I wasn't going bald, I'd totally be down for that hairstyle.
  14. This sounds promising. CRSW Limenthol does it on the soap end. Sounds like some SubZero is in my future.

  15. Get M Bomb too. It doesn't affect soap performance. Let's interesting things like menthol Arko happen, also can be added 2-3 drops in your hand with any AS. It's potent, be warned.

The AS Splash is actually one if the best skinfeel products I've yet tried. When I was learning to do traditional shaving, the AS by @Queen of Blades was also the only AS I've tried that didn't reopen small nicks after an alum treatment, if used sparingly. She puts the correct amount of moisturizers versus water and alcohol so that it's just about ideal for soothing irritated skin. SubZero also has no scent other than mint and menthol, so any fragrance is an option over the top.

(I know I am a moderator, and have appearance of inherent bias in suggesting a forum product and then singing about it, I get that. But this is straight dope--all those pics were taken when I was a contributing member who paid full price for the products and not yet "a part of TSD 's crew.")
  16. No need to defend yourself. I trust you on it, and will be obtaining some soon. Menthol Tabac, anyone?

  17. Your rang?
  18. It is all in how, er um I mean where you apply it.

Do you have any cautionary tales for Jared? Maybe people that have abandoned NB or things of that nature?

It's ok to collect razors, gentlemen.
