Decided after trying out a few modern SEs, had better revisit an early part S/S razor [Personna ]. Got this one mint, and like many found it hard to get the angle right, and I had a poor initial Tuggy Shave, so put it into the drawer.

This time I really did not rush, and with much polishing up got a nice close shave on the upper planes, but not on the neck. The Shave though long was very smooth and comfortable, but have come to the conclusion that this Razor, may well suit those with a lighter beard. A bonus is that I suffered no mishaps or post Shave irritation.

  4. Whoa doctor, what a superb shave. Cold water, DIY oils, I1 with Twins and who doesn't love twins. For me the I1 with Twins beats the H1 similarly equipped and that's something. Dolphin Town.

Nice shave with the Black Hawk. I have some more blades to try out at some point soon - some Feathers - so the adventure will continue. Excellent results today. Have a great weekend!

  7. Sharp looking I1 there! I need to get some Twins. The I1 is my top injector at the moment. I've heard the Twins really ramp it up.

  10. They have shipped. I will post when they arrive for sure. Not sure of any details. Seller had pics but just listed them as "decorative handle GEM" and "ridge handle GEM".

Been quite a while since I've used the Pushbutton. Wow - really smooth shave. Excellent results. I'll use it again tomorrow with the hope of equal results. I need to make sure I work this razor in a little more as I enjoyed it. Great lather and results from my software choices. Overall nice shave for a Monday morning.

    Have a great day!

  17. Roby, you've got that baby cranked up to high! I've never tried that razor on high. How's the shave?
