No hard feeling meant. I made the mistake of trying Clubman the first time before a full day on the motorcycle. The smell of that inside the helmet almost killed me. After that episode, I can't even imagine trying the Veg.

Day 30

My Route 66 Rum Runner soap was waiting for me when I got home this afternoon. My Omega 10098 is supposed to be here tomorrow. I will in all likelihood use both this coming Sunday for my me-time shave. Looking forward to it.

After watching this thread all month I think you're absolutely correct. And I can't wait. I'm sure I'll be urged to plunge in, but I'm not doing it 'til I can really enjoy it.

Don't judge the new brush for thirty uses. Boars are awful at first, and require considerable break in and deodorization. When you get the brush, lather it with Shave soap and let it dry on the counter every night for a week. Don't even consider using it until you've done this, or you will hate it. But, after Omegas break in, they are great brushes. I used my 48 boar today.

That's the way to do it.

Well it can't be any worse than some of the drunks I used to collar. For some of 'em a rain soaked dirty pig would be a step up.
