...when food makers come out with something good, they discontinue it or otherwise mess it up? Like "Great Shake", from the '60s. Came with a miniature Martini shaker. You dump a packet of stuff in it, add milk, the shake the bejeebus out of it. Instant shake! It was great! Then that jackhole shyster in California who felt it necessary to take the transfats out of Oreos. Leave 'em alone. And La Choy chow mein. Used to get it at HEB's until like a year ago. Seems like the only place I can get it is to *order* it from freakin' WallyWorld. The shipping charges cost more than the chow mein. Can't remember how many cereals have been pulled...Quisp & Quake, Stax...I mean, come on. So what it that stuff clogs an artery. So does Whataburger (I'm living proof).
I used to keep a list of various products that I enjoyed that ended up getting discontinued or changed/ruined. It got so big I quit keeping it.
...people can actually enjoy Cincinnati style chili? I know taste is in the mouth of the beholder but the spice they add to that otherwise great chili...gah.
Hm..."Fort Apache" or "Rio Grande". "Sands of Iwo Jima"? "Flying Tigers"? Or "El Dorado". That's a good'n.
Can't go wrong with one of the Cavalry Trilogy. I'm partial to "Rio Grande", followed by "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" and "Fort Apache".
That's the best of the three. Love me some Maureen O'Hara . She was the hottest in "The Quiet Man", I think. A redhead will surely be my undoing. 'Rio Grande" it is.
"Get her done Johnny Reb". "There'll be no doors between us Mary Kate, except those in your mercenary little heart".
... And which one is it? If it's new, there was nothing before it to be improved. If it's improved, there was a previous product, so it can't be new. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
For me, if the neighbors don't keep there cats indoors, then they end up at the SPCA in one of my traps. As for the German Shepard, get a really good dog whistle and blow it when it barks. It will hurt their ears and like Pavlov's dog, it will quit. Greg Wood
Why is it, people use a debt card or credit card to buy a less than a dollar item. Like mentioned above, I use cash a lot more these days. Greg W.
