Thanks. Yeah, and I don't think this is a soap that gets used up very easily. I've had it for a couple of years, and it looks almost untouched.
It looks like you need more soap, and maybe a little more water. It's hard to load out of a small container. If that was mine, I would find a 3-4 inch bowl with at least 2 inch wide sides, and smash the puck into the bottom. That will give you the room to really work the brush and mash the bristles into the soap to load them up. I normally wipe all the soap off the brush once or twice on the side of my lather bowl and reload. You will waste some soap, but get a better feeling for it.
I was just kidding around, committing you to build a couple of dozen matching Limited Edition, numbered brushes for us.

I find the Timeless .95 OC reminds me of a motorcycle. As soon as you think you have it mastered and you can make it dance, it will jump up and bite you. A few weepers tonight by user error. Which is a lot better than sliding down the road at 80 mph.
February Fat Boy Focus - Oh My! Tabac & Omega Pro 10098 boar '59 Gillette 195, Yellow 7 O'clock Alum and Pinaud Clubman AS Today I received the first of two packages from TSD member Jack @Sparrow. Direct from Osaka, Japan, a wonderful new authentic Suribachi bowl. It's quite a bit larger than my previous one. Used my big boar brush & that manly scented Tabac soap for a fabulous lather. Slick cushioning for the Fat Boy to take care of my face. Three strokes; with, against, & across my grain left me smooth. Alum swiped quiet and Ed Pinaud's Clubman treated me right. Oh my! Good Shaves Y'all!
