The rest of the items did nothing for me.

That's a healthy list. There are so many soaps that it should be easy for everyone to find plenty to try.

I took somewhere between a pea and almond size sample of each one that I listed.

Phew. I know I wanted to try the creed green Irish tweed stuff really bad. Hopefully there will be some left when it gets to me. Lol straight razor dandy was kind enough to put those in there since I asked him. I can't wait to get this box. I know the shipping is $18 and change but I think it will save me lots figuring out what scents I like. Esp. Bay rum not to much of a fan right now. Lol

I've done a lot of these, and it DEFINITELY saves money on trying soaps.

I almost did not get to shave, the lather was a bit thin. I am accustomed to not needing to be miserly with my soap, so out of habit, I did not flick much water out of the brush. Perhaps this is a good note for Clubman? The scent is clean and mild, does not smell much like the A/S, that I recall.

Overall a damn fine shave!

Oh okay I understand what you are saying now. There wasn't a creed sample just soaps whose scents are really close to it. Can't wait to hear your review of the mamma bear soap. I've thought about trying them

Update on the shave with the Clubman- almost three hours in and my faceturbating is getting out of control. The Clubman was a bit thin, but wow; my face feels silky smooth. I just bought a tub on Amazon, $5.87 and free shipping.
