I nominate @Screwtape to be the official legal counsel of the 30-Day Crew. Even if he does look funny in his lawyerin suit. Being from Canuckisville and all.
What type of brush are you using? @Bama Samurai used a method of pulling out a tiny bit of Route 66, adding a little water directly on top and then loading with a dry synthetic brush. I've tried with great success. At least I've tried with Route 66 with great success. Can't remember if I've tried it with any other soaps. There is s terrific video that Jared @PickledNorthern has posted several times. The guy runs a tiny bit of water through the brush while loading. That works really well. I'm out of town for the weekend with poor internet so I can't contribute much to the discussions right now. Good luck!
February Fat Boy Focus Tabac & JR#130 synthetic '59 Fat Boy, Yellow 7 O'clock Alum, Pinaud S.R. AS/Cologne All these Fat Boy on Nine shaves are letting me skip days of shaves. I'll take the good with the missed. Liking Tabac more every lather. I still load too much with suds left over. Been enjoying the #195 even more since I began making a mid shave adjustment. WTG at 9. ATG, XTG, G-slides, & touch ups at 6. Less irritation on my neck and no blood on steel. DFS & all quiet on the Alum Front. Double splash of Special Reserve for a fun in the sun and wind day. Think I'll make the rounds of the flea markets and antique stores. Good Shaves Y'all!
Hard to see the toupee with the wig he's wearing. At least the chin strap is covered by the high collar.
Catching up on yesterday and today... February 10-11, 2017 Razor: F2 Gillette 195 (4) (10 Feb), G3 Aristocrat Adjustable (4) (11 Feb) Blade: German Wilkie (3, 4) Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22 Cream: KMF fragrance-free I realized that I haven't used the Aristocrat in a while, so I swapped the blade over for today's shave. Basically, a pair of near-BBS shaves although I think the Fatboy one was a bit closer.
Charlie, what's the exchange rate between PN Unicorns and yours? I was thrilled when I saw those big ole horned horses!
