  1. Yes indeed. My favorite razor and my favorite soap base. I would have to work to screw up the shaves this week.
  2. All the handles lined up on the shelves waiting for the knot of your choice. Oh my goodness. You would have went crazy. ;)
  3. Like a kid in a candy store!!!
  4. IMG_0187.JPG 12 February 2017 Pre-Valentine's Day Blade/Focus Shave

Pre- VDH Shave Butter w/hot towel
    Blade- Gillette Silver Blue
    Razor- Parker 99r
    Brush- Omega 10098
    Soap- Route 66 "Rum Runner"
Post- Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, icy cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
After Shave- Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum
    Prop- Analee Valentine's Day mouse
So after much video watching, reading and strum und drang, I stood in my den, picked up the 10098, Rum Runner soap and got after it. Man oh man what a difference between this week and last. There was almost too much lather. As usual the GSB delievered. I don't chase the baby, but today he crawled right in and made himself at home. Since I had the time and the inclination, a three pass shave ensued and as it usually is on a two day growth it was fantastic! The 66 provided a slick, cushiony lather, the GSB provided it's usual close comfortable shave. Splashed on some VIBR and Sunday was off and running. Tomorrow is the start of the real test. I am confident that the GSB will continue it's stubble assassin ways.
    Have a great Sunday people!
Drygulch, PLAla, Bama Samurai and 9 others like this.
  5. Now you are on a roll with soap. The big boar should be a lather making machine.
  6. :happy088: :happy088:
  7. The Route 66 container is big enough to really get after it as well.
  8. +:happy088: :happy088:
  9. Yeah, with the combination of that soap and brush, I bet you had a ton of great suds. Route 66 builds crazy good lather.
  10. You shoulda seen it! When I went to the bowl and started swirling it just exploded! I could have had a five or six pass shave.

  13. I love the Ghost Town Barber Scent. I have only tried the soap, but would totally buy the aftershave.
  14. It smells great. My wife loves it
  15. Does it dry down powdery? I could see it being one of those I have to wear when I am alone.
  16. No it doesn't.
  17. That one goes on the list for sure. Thanks!
  18. You may have just explained why I now see Osage in the Clubman website. Ed(Pinaud)must have given his posthumous approval to include it.
  19. Great picture, Clint! Sounds like a great shave this morning!
  20. Morning everyone. So I found a slightly bigger container for my conks soap. How long should I nuke it in the microwave?
