1. Don't let Jim fool you. He's like those sculptors. Starts with a chunk of wood and all he does is remove the wood that isn't part of the shave brush handle.
    I kid, of course. There are craftsmen, then there are artist. I've been a wood butcher for decades but my "sculptures" are houses, garages, & sheds. As I develop my skills I've built a few cabinets. Jim's work is ART!

  6. more pets should be "adopted" then bought(I think)...same can hold true for Jayaruh paraphernalia :).
  7. Yep, today I passed some DE blades, a sample of Clubman AS, and an old VDH board brush to friend of my neighbors. He was welcome to that old stray shedding brush, but the JR#130 is family.

  8. I loved my #133 so much, I also adopted #117 for a travel brush. The handle is really good looking.

    It is difficult to tell from the photo, but that is a 19mm knot and is plenty big enough to load up for a good shave.

    @Jayaruh

    I meant to tell you Jim, that it had found a good home, and he used it last month on a week long trip. He said it worked great. Thanks!
  15. That's cool. Thanks Jared.
