This photo surpassed your usual great winter photos. The background, lighting and overall composition. You my friend are becoming a great photographer.
I bet you get some looks taking SOTD photos in that type of weather. I get enough looks from the wive and daughters and it's not that cold here.
Okay, you forced it out of me. Within the last month I was setting up my shaving gear on an old train trestle that the tracks have been pulled up, and kids going to and from school use it as a bridge. Anyway I was setting up my shave gear on a cold and windy day. when 3 kids asked me what I was doing. I said I was setting up my shaving products to take a picture so I could post it later that day. Why, they asked? I didn't have an answer.
That is a funny story. I can imagine them going home and telling their parents about the encounter. Just think you probably made their day.
I have to take mine in the bathroom when noone else is around, or else they look at me funny and ask the same question: Why are taking a picture of your shaving stuff.
My daughters and wife get a kick out of it now. They are all offering suggestions on ways to take SOTD photos. They still laugh about it but this way I am laughing along.
I usually take mine while sitting at my desk, which faces my wife's desk. Once in awhile I get "so why don't you ever take as many pictures of me as you do that stuff?" There is no correct answer to that question so my normal response is to drop something and act like I didn't hear her. It's worked so far.
Some soaps like MdC do not do well in very hot water but others do perform well in hot water, QCS, Route 66 and Crown and Crane are some of the hot water performers.
You've heard the expression "crazy cat lady"...you will forever be known to them as "insane shaving dude"
