Capri Bowl: Junichi Tanaka Scuttle My usual 3 passes with touch up and ended up with a near BBS. For me this is a great combination of shaving gear. I get a close comfortable shave each and every time. Can't believe this Personna Tungsten Steel blade is still going strong.

Tuesday 21Feb17 Shower and Shave of the Day After being in the Hospital for ten days I have now been home since 13Feb17. For those members that do not know I was at the hospital for an Electro Cardiogram, the people that did the test would not let me go home and took me to the ER after they did the test on 03Feb17. I guess I was sicker than a dog. While I was in the hospital I shaved off a beard that I had grown because I couldn't use my hands. I was able to shower and shave today. I used the razor and Neutrogena Face Soap. Today is the first day I have felt up to being able to shower much less shave since I got out of the hospital.
Tuesday's Shave: Normally I don't shave on Tuesdays. However tonight I am attending a wine makers dinner at a local restaurant. I figured I'd better get cleaned up a bit before heading out. Just shaved with the below equipment: Stirling EM (a favorite), SOC boar, Captain's Choice bowl for lather, my new (old) G1 Fatboy with a new Polsilver SI blade and finished with Nivea balm and a bit of Clubman after shave. Feeling good and presentable now. The Polsilver is the third brand of blades I have tried in the Fatboy since I received it. Again another blade that works great in this razor.
Guys, once again I beg you for your forgiveness for changing my setup! Wednesday morning's shave: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra day 3 Top Ten Sensitive S/C Svoboda A/S Balm F&C Shambala A/S Splash Here's what happened - the other day my cleaning lady was here and she was working in our house so she somehow re-arranged practically my entire stash. The Hamol cream wound up in my storage locker with a ton of other stuff. In any event this Top Ten Sensitive cream is awesome - the scent is lovely, the lather is a joy to work up, and it's got a good cooling effect with gentle and soothing post-shave care. The Svoboda balm has a mild scent with terrific moisturizing. Do I ever LOVE the Shambala splash - what a pity it's no longer available!
TOBACCO TUESDAY Prep: Taconic Bay Rum Metholated Razor: Gillette ball end tech Blade: Croma Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetc Soap: RazoRock Tobacco #2 Post: WSP Tobacco splash, Van Yulay Tobacco Polvorion balm 2 pass shave this morning. Got a nice lather from the Tobacco #2 and it has a great scent. Don't understand all the hate for RR products, the lather was quite nice for a soap of this price. Ended up with a clean shave and finished off with WSP and a few hours later applied some Tobacco Polvorion balm for a bit of added protection. Hope everyone enjoyed their shave!

Really great. It is pretty close to being gourmand for me, with the cardamom and coffee and bourbon. Then you have the orange and tobacco to sweeten it up, just smells wonderful. One of the best scents I've ever smelled in a soap.
