Very comfortable shave today, with another stellar performance from the Soap Commander. (wink wink, Neal...)

First time out with the new Duke, and Simpson just nailed it with this one. The loft is perfect for the knot, making it splay really well. The Chubby splays well too, but it almost needs a little coaxing, or starting at an angle sort of to get it to scrub right. Not so with this one. It is a stellar brush. I'm really jazzed over this one.

Jared, that's a beautiful brush. I'm glad it performs as good as it looks. I just can't believe Neal hasn't tried Soap Commander. He's our 30 day rule/focus leader and everything.

 

Enabling, gifting, now guilt tripping?! You really don't think I'm a pushover for that do you? I am the Russian Blade Czar and I won't bow to such low attempts from the proletariat. (I did spell that correctly didn't I?). So, despite your best efforts I'm just saying NO!

Thanks Charlie for the kind words. I was very happy to see that the butterscotch is a darker, buttery-er color than some of the new blaze orange offerings that have come out recently. I really like the orange, but the darker is more classic to me.

SC soap is another one of those that is so good it is just "Top Shelf" soap. The fact that these gigantic tubs of soap are so inexpensive, and last forever, is just bonus.

Thanks, Clint. I am going to have to use it some more, but as much as I love my Chubby, this one just might top it. I loaded the hell out of it and did a good old fashioned face lather. It was more than enough for my 3+ passes routine.

I really like Duke brushes, so this was a cool addition for me.

 

I have received a classified document (floating in my bathtub in an empty vodka bottle) stating that a small unmarked parcel is on its way from Ardmore, Alabama to Cartel headquarters in the 'Lou.

 

The Chubby 2 Synthetic is my favorite Synthetic by a huge margin. Something similar attributes but a little smaller and easier to splay would be nice.

"Loo" and "Lou" may be two entirely different things. Although parts of "The Lou" do smell like the "Loo" during certain times of the year.
