I am thinking of the General in brass that is to be released end of March or first part of April.

I am kind of on the fence about the brass General. I REALLY want one, but I wonder how much use it'll actually get. I think I have only used the one I have twice since December.

The Kai/Feather bug has bitten me bad.

I am the same way. I have my favorites and the rest just don't see that much use. Razors causes me problems but brushes are my real issue.

Starting the week off with Castle Forbes and a Rasupur Western grind kami.

As expected the CF made allot of lather from a little scoop and the big brush delivered it. Todays edge was smooth and sharp. Four passes and no blood but some feedback from the alum and just missed being dolphin smooth.

Doug, beautiful set up, but I'm sorry the shave didn't go well. I had a shave like that once with my B2 Mongoose.

I decided to go on a NB 17 until my birthday in May(of 17). Two months of not buying anything. Need to try to reduce my soap amounts.

I hope you can manage to stay stronger than I did.

So another shave, Conk's Desert Breeze soap, Art of Manliness branded DE89 razor, with Conk's Desert Breeze after shave lotion. I also added alum and some witch hazel to my post shave routine.

Lathering went well, but when it came to the alum at the end... Man do I suck at shaving. My face was on fire. But hey it lets me know I'm alive right?
