One thing I like about the G-Bar, is that it is an excellent razor for a two pass shave. And also a great razor for trimming around a goatee and clean lines for side burns. A very smooth and comfortable two passes with a bit of touch up for a great BBS shave.

The Arko Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #128 brush. I did two passes the Gillette Fatboy and Wilkinson Sword Super Sword blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Just shaved. Used my newest soap that just came in the mail today - Tabac. Also used a new aftershave - Cella. Merkur 34c with a Ladas blade, Omega Professional Boar brush, and Captain's Choice bowl for lather. Very nice shave. The Tabac is an interesting soap. Having read so many posting about it. To me it smells like soap. Some say the scent is too strong - I don't find it to be so. It did lather very easily (see second photo). Far more lather than I needed for a 3 pass shave. I did not think it was as "slick" as many of the other soaps that I use. The Cella after shave is very nice - does not smell like the soap.
