  1. I'm in[IMG]
  2. I suggest bonus points for using a rusty bolt.
  3. Yes! We could judge each Shave like Olympic Diving. That would fall under "Valor", bent carriage bolt is "degree of difficulty", and so on.
  4. Great review. I look forward to the rest.
  5. Great idea. I want to play.
  6. What's your biggest trouble spot you want to fix?

    Post - Alum

Well, here we are with another month underway. Looks like everyone is off to a good start and it should be a fun and informative month! I'm going all aggressive this month with my Fatip, New LC and 1914 Old. And, of course, pain sticks. I'll gravitate mostly to the pain sticks but on nights like this when I got out of work late and had a late start (had to watch the final episode of Taboo we recorded last night) I'll go to an aggressive DE. That could also include the Soviet Consul adjustable wide open as well.

Blade for tonight is my favorite NOS blade, the Sharp Star. I received my order of 300 that has taken an unusually long time to arrive and he even included a few tucks of some other Moscow blades for free. I love my Cartel buddies. I could shave with nothing but Sharp Star and Voskhod and my growing bulk inventory of both is a testament to that. I'm at well over 800 just in those two blades and still adding. At some point Sharp Star will be unavailable and I plan on having enough of them to last the rest of my life.

I chose Stirling as the soap as I continue to compare Stirling, Route 66 and Soap Commander. Barbershop scent with I like a whole lot more than I thought I would. SWMBO also approves highly so it's a win-win around here.

Two passes with the highly aggressive Fatip Piccolo and a very nice DFS is the result. I skipped the last pass just to avoid irritation issues. Alum was mostly quiet so it worked. I love the way this razor works and feels. It's a bit milder than the 1914 but definitely lets you know it's in control. All in all a great start to the month!

Looks like my next 240 blades will be in the mailbox tomorrow. More on those later as they are the "Spring cleaning" portion of my focus. Have a great night and a better tomorrow!

  8. I knew I could count on you! :angelic013:
  9. I am liking where this is going. We have two weeks for the bold, brave and brain dead to create their "razors".
  10. I've found that if I dispense a portion into a shave bowl & punch it down with a brush, the canned foam gets more dense.

Will this affect the "shaving while driving" portion of the Triathlon? I don't remember the ruling on if you have to be both the shaver & the driver...
  11. Points deducted based on the amount of torque applied to secure blade?
  12. Should sutures be a full point deduction?

Ex: "It was the usual two pass automatic DFS, save for a 7cm gash on my jawline. On the bright side, we weren't late for dinner, and SWMBO liked my New AS."

This would be an auto deduction. This is not an amateur crowd.

Yes. And Loc-Tite is a DQ, kinda like lead filled radios is in NASCAR.
  13. Sealing the wound with CA should only be a half point deduction.
  14. Also @cmorris357
    So far...

    CA - half point
    Suture - full point
Sutures (more than three) - two points
More than finger tight, use of wrench or socket - full point
    Adhesives - DQ

I can tell you right now, based off of my personal tastes, there are some underdogs who have a real shot at this. I can also tell you that there are a few that while I do like using them, they are sort of just filler considering the competition. You might be able to guess which ones they are. Or not. So there really isn't a bad pick in here.
  16. Today:

    Barbasol Red
    Magic
    Shark
    Alum
    Veg
  17. Yes, you must actually be driving the vehicle while shaving yourself. Otherwise it's just too easy.
  18. Bonus if simultaneously texting. Coffee optional.
  19. Double bonus if it came out of a cow pasture.
  20. To count, coffee must be at least 185 F. No lukewarm crap.
