The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #144 finest badger brush. I did two passes the Micromatic Open Comb and CVS SE blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Very funny! I'm thinking Mr. 1909 is a good alternate CT for you. Seriously, that 1909 is a mighty fine razor. I am going to have to start searching for one.

An excellent shave this morning. Uncle Jon's produces an easy, slick and protective lather, easily top 5 for me. I really like this scent as well, spicy but with a nice vanilla base. The Supply Provision Custom with the 3 dot head is as close to perfection as I've found. A very easy 3 passes to a BBS shave. There was not even a tickle from the alum. I'm sitting in the airport putting my daughter on a plane to visit her aunt in Oregon over spring break. Prayers for a safe trip are appreciated. Have a great day folks!

 

Had an excellent shave this morning. Tim's always makes a superb lather and the Mongoose had no troubles turning 3 days of growth into BBS.

 

Broke out Junior last night...can't decide which is better, him or the Damaskeene...

I plan on using the Schick C1 for the week, beginning with a leasurely late morning Sunday shave today.

Man....you get a great shave with a Lather Catcher AND the Veg loves you!!!!

That razor issss awesome and a movie star. Before he gave it to me Dave Irving made a you tube video with it on how to load a blade in a lather catch. that was around the time the original TOS kicked off. If you have never used one you should. You can borrow it for a bit.
