What a fantastic cream this Lea Classic is - it smells wonderful, it's a pleasure to lather up with, and it has a very good cooling sensation with such a soothing post-shave sensation. It's a shame that the Black Powder aftershave is no longer available - ah well, c'est la vie! ;) :D

    Wednesday's March SE Maddness

    zcws.gif

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Razorock Classic Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #144
    Gem Push-Button
    CVS SE
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    T.N. Dickinson's WH
    Pinaud Vegetal AS

The Razorock Classic Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #144 finest badger brush. I did two passes the Gem Push-Button and CVS SE blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  12. Thanks Clint. Not my farm. I belongs to a friend of mine. When he needs an extra hand he calls me.

  15. Tonight's shave was with a freshly acquired, slightly restored, and hone razor. It's the maiden shave. I have a wonderfully smooth 1 Pass Shave, with this blade. when I rubbed my face, there was no need to go further. It was a DFS, with BBS in almost all areas. No touch-ups needed.
I highly recommend one of these razors, if you have the opportunity to get one.

Razor- Mayer & Grosh, Barbers Hollow Ground. Toledo Ohio.
    Brush- Vintage German "Oceans"
    Soap- ARKO/Avon Spicy Scented
    Aftershave- Yardley Gold

  16. TOBACCO TUESDAY
    20170307_194626.jpg

    Prep: RazoRock Mister Joe
    Razor: Schick L Injector
    Blade: Ted Pella (1st shave)
    Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic
    Soap: PAA Cavendish
Post: Lucky Tiger, PAA Cavendish A/S, HEV Cognac & Cuban Cigars balm

Have been recently experimenting with different razors, first time with this one. The handle is longer than my other injector so there was a bit of a learning curve. Had some redness but a clean shave anyways. Decided to throw on some balm as well to repair any damage that may have taken place. Hope everyone had a great shave!

  19. Like you, I'm using a discontinued shaving cream-the Rise Super Foam(the 13 oz. white can). . They got rid of it about 6 months ago, and I still have 4 cans left from my order with them. Grandfathering is fun!!!

  20. Just doing some rough math, If I used in a rotation of a couple of dozen soaps, I should finish it up in a little less than eight years.
