Tonight I ordered a One Blade from Amazon. They are running a sale for $339?!?! I am not sure if you can really call it a deal, but it is a price cut! I decided to splurge for my 50th birthday coming up on 4/2. I figured if I was ever going to order one, this would be the time. Now the tough call will be what to use on my birthday - my M2 Gillette Slim Adj (birth year razor) or my present to myself! I think I will have to go with the M2.

Just completed a trade for a razor I had never heard of until last night. Jurgen Hempel Jarwin Delux which is suppose to be a 1/1 replica of the original Darwin Deluxe. He made only ten and will continue to make the head assembly but no current plans for the handles. I am receiving 10/10.

Depending on the model you might be able to use a modified Gem blade in it. Drop a post over in the SE thread for the experts.

 

I think this is one of them. It's why I picked it. I think it's a model C1. (?) Just a de-splined Gem blade.
