A great BBS shave with my trusty Super Speed, the Astra on its 4th day, and the chilly Proraso Green soap. I LOVE the Amici aftershave's scent and it has a nice menthol effect.

    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick J1 injector
    Brush: Surrey badger
Lather: Deep South Soap Company 'Sawmill'
Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Mountain Man aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Did not get good lather today. It was thin and I ended up with a little irritation. But otherwise the shave was fine. I enjoyed the J1 injector as well as the scent from Mountain Man.

    Have a great day!

16 March 2017 Shave Of The Day
Today's shave features TOBS Coconut Luxury Shaving Cream. Using the dry brush technique my 6212 whipped up a slick, shiny lather. The weekday stubble never stood a chance against the DE89BL/Shark combo. 2.5 passes plus some touch up and the deed was done. I splashed on some Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood A/S from the sampler I got from WCS, walked the dog and it was off to work. Have a good 'un.

Day 21 of 30 days of straights

Using my Henckel 6/8 Round Toe again today. This was a CCS. It is not exceedingly close or smooth, but that is probably because I only did two passes today. I was going to go for a third pass, but seeing as how I had not cut myself on the first two passes, I decided to skip the third. My technique shows only small improvements daily, but it is improving. My improvement for today was that I managed not to cut myself and have only one small weeper.

    DIY Pre-shave Oil
    ABC
30mm High Mountain White set an extra 10mm deep
    2 passes, WTG, XTG
Penhaglion Bayolea shave cream soothing gel

I have avoided using my E3 because the E series has been call "aggressive" and my old face doesn't care for aggressive.. But I got brave today and tried it out. Yup, it's aggressive. But by taking it easy, little blood was shed and a ok shave was had. Now go enjoy your day folks
