  1. Gabe, your brush is sweet!! I believe I remember when you re-knoted it.

  2. I have best luck with injectors and very aggressive DEs like the Shake Sharp and shimmed Single Ring. Two passes and some buffing of the crown stubble.

Prep: MLSW Sandalwood pre shave butter
    Razor: Gillette Redtip
    Blade: Gillette Green
    Brush: RazoRock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Uncle Jon's Silk Road
    Post: CB LPV aftershave

Had a smooth shave early this morning. Whipped up a creamy lather in the copper bowl. Really impressed with Uncle Jon's tallow soap, both performance and scents are top notch. Paired perfectly with the LPV splash. Hope everyone has a great shave!

  4. +1 Master aftershaves are a great value and come in a variety of scents. Plus the bottles last practically forever, only wish the scent lasted longer. Topaz is a nice powdery scent that you could imagine a barber using. Good stuff.

  5. Thats a good one lol. I know Paul got a kick out of the name as well. It's anise and peppermint scent. I believe it is still being produced by Square One Soapworks, it is one of those hidden gem soaps, like Lisa's Natural. Very good stuff.

  6. Paul, that is an empty 350ml Casamigos Tequila Bottle, into which the Reserve was decanted. Getting there was half the fun...
  7. Next question, Sir. My S. R. is green. Is yours red?

Since I was very rushed this morning, I am late posting. At any rate the shave was another automatic near BBS 2 pass shave. The more I use the Flat Top the more I am impressed. The brush matches my preferences in a badger brush very closely. I will say that I expected it to be more of a soap destroyer but so far it doesn't eat soap like the Chubby 2 synthetic. A splash of Fine Vetiver was a great end to the shave. I hope everyone has had a wonderful Thursday.
